I saw some improvement to my paint but not much.
I've owned 3 detail shops in California and Nebraska over the years. I've used NuFinish on my own cars since the late 1970's. It provides a deep shine and unmatchable protection. I use the original NuFinish liquid for the initial coat, then follow up a week or two later with another coat. Then if I want to apply a quickie extra coat after a few months or so, I'll use the spray, at least on the top surfaces. NuFinish outperforms all of the commercial products I've tried as well as pricy products by Meguiar's, Mothers, Siminize, Turtle, you name it. And the price is unbelievable! One bottle of liquid will do several cars, and it's under 10 bucks. Only drawback is do not get any on black trim as it will stain the trim. Personally just to be safe, I use painters tape to mask off any black trim that is next to a painted surface. Only takes a few minutes and protects the trim, allowing me to wax right up to it. Also, more product doesn't mean more shine. Use a damp microfiber cloth completely wrung out so it's just damp not wet. Apply in circular motions to get a light glaze. Let dry for about 10 minutes then buff off with a dry microfiber cloth. For the very best protection and shne, repeat after a few weeks and you're good for a year or close to it. For my vehicles I'm very picky so I do all of them every 3 to 4 months and they always look fantastic. I get comments consistently about how good they look, but equally important to me is the protection from sun and UV it provides. (And once applied (this is for any car or wax) never ever use any soap that isn't specifically for washing cars. Any other soap just strips the wax right off your vehicle.
Being as Graphine is fairly new to auto detailing compounds, I recommend that a product user research the "How Tos" and what to expect. In my experience, I expected a nice spray and wipe high gloss finish. Instead, when wiping and buffing the product, it left streaking and a dull film on a surface.
Great Product
Works Great!!
I was anxiously waiting for this to get here because I have always liked NuFinish products. This was not a good replacement for their previous Ceramic spray coating. This one left streaks on the finish of my Honda HRV that required using a little paste wax to remove. The NuFinish Ceramic spray that preceded the Graphene was an excellent product that lasted much longer than a lot of the more expensive Ceramic sprays. I won't be using the remaining contents or buying more and will always wish they had left the old one alone.
Very easy to put on. I did my classic 35 year old BMW 325i, looks as good as new!
Easy to spray on and polish out quickly. Seems to give similar initial results as similar ceramic spray car waxes. I put it on different vehicles, and the see different amounts of time in the weather, so it isn't easy to tell which one is lasting the longest. I'm happy enough with it. Next time I will probably pick the one that's lower in cost between the two products.
I've been using this (NuFinish Graphene coating) for 2 years now and I'm impressed with its durability and high shine that lasts for months. Just be sure to apply it properly (most reviewers don't)! It's very important to follow the application directions. Most people spray on way too much product. That causes sticky streaks and a dull spots. All you need is a few drops on a small area then you can quickly buff it to a high shine that's very slick. If you accidentally apply too much, you can use a wet or damp microfiber towel to buff it out and remove the excess but it takes time. I just watched 3 negative review videos where they applied way too much product (contrary to the directions) and then wondered why it left streaks! I recommend NuFinish Graphene.
we are living in a time where detailing products are so much better than they were 15 years ago, and this product is one of those new products. I am a long-time Nu Finish wax user and these spray versions are more convenient than paste/cream waxes or polishers. I'mnot a pro detailer but this stuff seems to be as good or better than other detailing sprays.
Just spray on and buff off, looks great. I have always hand waxed my truck, this looks just as good and lasts longer.
Watched all the reviews and lasts up to 10-12 months with single application. Easy to apply and much cheaper than others.
I previously put Nu Finish Ceramic on our cars and they look great. After reading the write up on Nu Finish Graphene and the write up on Graphene, I got the impression that it was a little better than Nu Finish Ceramic. After ordering it, I thought I better check with Nu Finish as to whether Nu Finish products Graphene and Ceramic can be applied over each other. NU Finish Customer Service told me that the two products were incompatible and I should not apply the Graphene product over their Ceramic. I then tried to cancel my order for Graphene and I thought I was successful. But the product was delivered several days later. I then tried to return the Graphene and was told by the seller that it was not returnable, I pushed the issue with the seller and they sent me a message stating that it was not returnable due to Healthe Issues. Health issues is totally a lame excuse since they moved the product to close outs which tells me that they are stuck with an inventory that they can't sell. Beware of this product and this vendor.
It lasts a long time, repels water, easy to apply and repels water so good. If you are looking for an inexpensive, easy to apply coating that lasts I would highly recommend this stuff. .
I expected NuFinish to be a superior product, but I am very disappointed. After washing my car and spraying the Nu Finish Graphine Spray Coating on my hood, and then buffing it off, the surface was sticky. I was hoping it would harden by the next day and become slippery, but alas, it was still sticky and holding dust. A week later it is still sticky. I had previously used Shine Armour Graphine Coating and it left a very hard, shiny finish that was super slick to the touch. Dust, tree blossoms, pollen, etc. just slid right off. Shine Armour even made my clear coat look new again. Shine Armour costs a little more, but it works great so it is a reasonable price for great results. Amazon would not accept a return of Nu Finish, even though I consider it to be defective. Don't waste your money on this sticky, non-slippery Nu Finish.
